Account Executive, LH Exchange

Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, one of the nation’s leading and fastest growing fine art auction houses, seeks an Account Executive for LH Exchange.

The account executive position for LH Exchange will be responsible for assisting the director with administrative tasks including but not limited to property management, client relations, research projects and cataloguing.

We are seeking a responsible, highly motivated and organized individual to assume administrative duties that include: 



·        Manage departmental pipelines, ensuring all consignment inquiries and past appraisals are followed up on regularly, generating weekly reports for the Director of LH Exchange.

·        Receive inquiries generated through the website and collect information as needed to provide preliminary estimates.

·        Catalogue and perform condition reports as needed.

·        Oversee the successful completion/close of consignments.

·        Maintain sales schedule.

·        Assist in marketing and business development efforts.

·        Other duties as assigned by Director.

Skills & Qualifications: 

·        Bachelor’s Degree in interior design, design, art or a related field preferred.

·        Minimum of 1-3 years experience in administrative or customer service role preferred.

·        Experience in an e-commerce setting or with Wordpress strongly preferred.

·        Superior client service skills.

·        Strong sense of professionalism and discretion.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Proficiency in all Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel.

·        Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.

·        Able to work under pressure and prioritize to meet strict deadlines.

·        Willingness to work late hours and weekends as required.

·        Some domestic travel may be required.
