Position Title:   Account Executive, Marketing and Digital Media

Department:      Marketing

Reports to:         President, Senior VP

 

Overview

Carol Fox and Associates is a Chicago-based marketing and public relations agency specializing in arts, entertainment and lifestyle clientele. The company’s environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a client roster that boasts many of the city’s best known attractions and cultural institutions. 

 

Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Lead client marketing campaigns
  • Strategize, develop and implement marketing plans
  • Maintain marketing budgets and timelines
  • Set up and monitor promotional offers, working with box offices to coordinate codes and monitor sales
  • Research and build marketing databases and secure third-party promotions
  • Create, negotiate and execute advertising plans including digital, print, broadcast and out of home media
  • Facilitate the development of advertisements and collateral marketing materials including writing copy, obtaining client approvals, and overseeing printing and distribution

 

Digital Media

  • Strategize, implement, analyze and optimize digital advertising plans, including remarketing campaigns and conversion tracking
  • Develop strategic social media strategies and content calendars
  • Implement social media campaigns, engage followers across multiple platforms, monitor interactions, reply to comments/messages, review analytics and optimize content
  • Coordinate email campaigns
  • Maintain content on client websites
  • Oversee third-party programmers in the development of websites, as needed

 

General

  • Oversee junior staff on projects and interns as appropriate
  • Participate in client meetings and provide clients with periodic reports
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications: 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a college degree in a relevant field, such as communications or marketing, 3-5 years of marketing/digital experience, the ability to multi-task and an enthusiastic personality. Google AdWords certification and a passion for the arts is a plus.
